Hello, God has given me something in 1 Samuel 19:23 which says, “And he went there to Naioth in Ramah. And the Spirit of God came upon him also, and as he went he prophesied until he came to Naioth in Ramah.” (ESV)
So, what God has given me, is, that even though Saul going to Naioth seemed like a bad thing (because he was going to kill David), the Spirit of the Lord came apon Saul, and he began prophesying, so it turned out to be a good thing.
The cross seemed like a bad thing, because the saviour was dying, but He rose again, and He (at the cross) took our sin, then died, for our good, and now we can have peace, and be happy because of Jesus.
I used the ESV when that verse was put on here, but in the NIV the Bible says part of the verse this way, “…The Spirit of the Lord came even apon him…” so the Spirit came EVEN apon Saul, so, even though an evil spirit had come on Saul, the Spirit of the Lord overpowered the evil spirit so that Saul prophesied, and at the cross Jesus conquered all evil, every bit of it, and gave us His grace so that we can be saved.
