Hello, God has given me something in 2 Samuel 18:12 which says,
“But the man replied, “Even if a thousand shekels were weighed our into my hands, I would not lift my hand against the king’s son. In our hearing the king commanded you and Abishai and Ittai, ‘Protect the young man Absalom for my sake.”
So, what God has given me, is, that this man would not kill Absalom because the king said not to (king David), but Joab wouldn’t listen, and he killed Absalom, disobeying the king. God did not tell us to keep Jesus alive, so we killed Him, but it was all a part of God’s plan, because Jesus took our sins, and died on the cross, we are forgiven. THANK YOU JESUS!!!!
The man wouldn’t disobey the king for money, and in Ecclesiastes 5:10 which says,
“Whoever loves money never has money enough; whoever loves wealth is never satisfied with his income. This too is meaningless.”
So he’s saying that the rich people never think they have enough money, and the wealthy want more, but the man in 2 Samuel didn’t want riches, he obeyed the king. We still crucified Jesus, who is the SON of GOD, and Jesus was willing to die for us, Jesus’ flesh (He was in a human body) didn’t want to die, but Jesus was (and is) perfect, so He took on ALL our sins, and died for us sinful wretches! THANK YOU JESUS!!!!!
Do you believe that Jesus died on the cross in our place?
