The verse: Hello, God has given me something in 1 Kings 8:23 (I’m quoting most of verse 23) which says,
“O Lord, God of Israel, there is no God like you in heaven above or on earth below-you who keep your covenant of love with your servants who continue wholeheartedly in your way.”
The kept covenant: So, what God has given me is, that God has (like I talked (typed) a little about before) kept His covenant with us, last post I said that He kept His promise to us, and that is very true, and the covenant, the promise, that God has kept to us, is to give us our inheritance, our inheritance is Jesus, and He died on a cross in our place! God’s Son, died in the place of some horrible, sinful, wretch! Can you believe it? Jesus died on the cross, so that we can live, and He took us into His flock, my family (and me) read last night in Deuteronomy 4:15-20, and verse 20 says,
“But as for you, the Lord took you and brought you out of the iron-smelting furnace, out of Egypt, to be people of HIs inheritance, as you now are.”
God’s sheep: Moses is saying that the other nations were of in idolatry, but that God had taken the Israelites as His, because if God took us out of our sin, and then let us go and walk around doing whatever we want, we would go right back to sin, so God takes us into His fold.
