Still doing evil!

Hello, God has given me something in 1 Kings 15:34 which says,

“He did evil in the eyes of the Lord,  walking in the ways of Jeroboam and in his sin, which he had caused Israel to commit.”

He (King Baasha) sure didn’t learn from other people’s mistakes, in fact, he followed those mistakes, bad mistake buddy. For him, this ment, punishment for his horrible sin!! HOW COULD HE?!?!? He actually SINNED!!! He deserves death, he should die!! But wait a minute, I sin too, we all do, so does that means we should all die, right? We should all go to hell, so why haven’t we already died? BECAUSE JESUS DIED, WE DON’T HAVE TO!!!! Jesus payed the punishment for our sins, so now we can go to heaven.

Jesus died on the cross in our place, so that we don’t have to, and so that we can go to Heaven. What does this meen for us? It meens we can go to heaven, I think I’m getting it, we can sin all we want, but since Jesus died on the cross for us, we don’t have to pay the punishment for our sins! Great,

“What shall we say then? Are we to continue in sin that grace may abound? By no means! How can we who died to sin still live in it? Do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life.” (Romans 6:1-4)

Oh, well I guess that means that we can’t sin all we want, but Jesus died on the cross for us in our place, and if He hadn’t died for us, then we would die.
