Fire eating up water, the power of God

Hello, God has given me something in 1 Kings 18:38 which says,

“Then the fire of the Lord fell and burned up the sacrifice, the wood, the stones and the soil, and also licked up the water in the trench.”

Wow, Elijah had people fill up four large jugs of water, and pour it on the altar three times, and God burned it up, there were over 400 prophets of baal, and baal didn’t light it on fire, Elijah even taunted them, “Shout louder, maybe he is taking a trip, or maybe he is sleeping.” Maybe not those exact words but God never sleeps, God is watching us, protecting us day and night, He never grows weary, He gives us the strength to not grow weary, 1 Kings 18:46 it says,

The power of the Lord came apon Elijah and, tucking his cloak into his belt, he ran ahead of Ahab all the way to Jezreel.”

Isaiah 40:30-31 says,

Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.”

Elijah was running ahead of a chariot, in a cloak, no less, and in verse 38, God put fire on water, people don’t exactly see that every day, ‘Hey Bob, check it out, that altar had water on it, and now its burning!’ The power of God, is so great, His love is also so great, at the cross He shows that, He sent His one and only son, to die on a cross for us, so now, we don’t have to, John 3:16-17 says,

“For God so loved the world that He sent His one and only son, that whoever believes in Him, shall not perish, but have eternal life. For God did not send His son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him.”

So God saved us through His son, we might not run long periods of time and not grow weary, but we do have Christ, Jesus died on the cross for us.
