Hello, God has given me something in 1 Kings 19:5-6 which says,
“Then he lay down under the tree and fell asleep. All at once and angel touched him and said, “Get up and eat.” He looked around, and there by his head was a cake of bread baked over hot coals, and a jar of water. He ate and drank and lay down again.”
God provided for Elijah, twice, he sent the angel again, and he Elijah ate and drank, and the second time he had his strength back, and took a forty day and forty night journey, and he was strengthened, and God provided (provides) for us too, at the cross, God put a substitute there for us, and made us holy, He didn’t make Jesus unholy, Jesus took on all the world’s sin, on the cross, and He died for us there, but Jesus was (is) still holy.
Jesus died on the cross for us, He gave us His holiness, and He took us out of our sin, and made us pure, we still sin, but Jesus made us pure, that doesn’t mean we can sin all we want, Romans 6:1-4 says,
“What shall we say then? Are we to continue in sin that grace may abound? By no means! How can we who died to sin still live in it? Do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life.”
We do not need to sin, Jesus put to death our old self, and gave us new life.
Peace and Love, Joy Cleveland
