Hello, God has given me something in 2 Kings 3:11 which says,
“But Jehoshaphat asked, “Is there no prophet of the Lord here, that we may inquire of the Lord through him?” An officers of the king of Israel answered, “Elisha son of Shaphat is here. He used to pour water on the hands of Elijah.”
Jehoshaphat looked to the Lord in time of trouble, so should we. When Jehoshaphat looked to the Lord, it turned out for the good. For the three kings, they were told by Elisha that they would win the big battles. This really worked out for the three kings.
Unfortanetly, sometimes, people won’t look to the Lord in their trouble. They look to themselves, and to their “great power”. But God still saved us, He didn’t just let them (us) think they’re so powerful and such. He sent His son to die on the cross for us. He loved (loves) us so much, that He sent His son to die on the cross for us. John 3:16-17 says,
“For God so loved the world, that He sent His only son, that whoever believes in Him, shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send His son into the world to condemn the world but to save the world through Him.”
God loved (loves) us so much. He gave His own son for us, Jesus gave His own life for us. He loves us so much, and we are God’s sons and daughters. Thank you Jesus! Can you believe that the wonderful son of God, would give His life up for us, a bunch of horrible sinners! Wow! He really does love us. 1 Timothy 1:15 says,
“Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners-of whom I am the worst.”
Jesus came to save us sinners. He saved us. That saying is trustworthy, Jesus died on the cross for us.
Peace and love, Joy Cleveland
