Hello, God has given me something in 2 Kings 4:5 which says,

“She left him and afterward shut the door behind her and her sons. They brought the jars to her and she kept pouring.”

Now, keep in mind verse 2 which says,

“Elisha replied to her, “How can I help you, Tell me, what do you have in your house?” “Your servant has nothing at all,” she said, “except a little oil.”

The end of verse 5 said that she kept on pouring. The widow was able to fill all of the jars with a little oil, because God provided for her. This was great for the widow, and even for Elisha. He was able (again) to show God’s power, and love. God still loves today, and He still has power today. He loved us thousands of years ago, way before we were even born, He loved us. He loved (loves) us so much, that He gave His own son for us. John 3:16-17 says,

“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send His son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him.”

God also HATES sin, He can’t even look at it, but He welcomes His children into His kingdom. God makes us His children, and He crucified his own son, on the cross. Jesus gave His own life for us, and He gave us the right to go to heaven. Thank you Jesus!

For us, this means that we can someday go to heaven, and live with Jesus, because He gave His own life for us.

Peace and love, Joy Cleveland
