Took our place

Hello, God has given me something in 1 Chronicles 7:21 which says,

“Zabad his son
   and Shuthelah his son.
Ezer and Elead were killed by the native-born men of Gath, when they went down to seize their livestock.”

Intruder: Ezer and Elead were sinning when they tried to seize the natives livestock. So what the natives do, kill them. No one took their place or helped them out. They did do a bad thing when they tried to take the natives livestock. How can this point forward to the cross?

Cross: These two died because of their sin. How can this point forward to the cross? We were going to die. We had done a horrible sin. We had done so much it seemed like we couldn’t be forgiven. Jesus knew otherwise. He humble Himself down to being a human and He was beaten. He became the perfect sacrifice. He atoned for our sin. He gave His own life for us. Jesus gave Himself for us. He took our place. Thank You Jesus!

Cry out: Jesus gave His life for us. But that doesn’t mean that life will go nice and easy. Actually it might go the opposite of nice and easy, hard and opposed. When we are in troubles and we are stuck, we might have lost our ground, we can cry out to Jesus. He will help us. go tohttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JmVxRl5bc4Y to hear cry to Jesus. Jesus: Jesus gave His only life for us. He loves us so much that He was willing to give His own life for us. He took our place, He paid the price, He gave His life for us. We had done a horrible sin against God, and He gave His life for us so that we can be the children of God. Thank You Jesus! He gave His own life for us! He loves us so much. (John 3:16-17)

Closing prayer: Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank You for giving Your life for us. I pray that we would stand firm. I pray that we would call to You in our time of trouble. Thank You for dying on the cross for us. I pray that the underground church would soon be able to freely worship you. I pray that they would rejoice in time of suffering. I pray that we would rejoice in time of suffering. Thank You for letting us be sons and daughters of God. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Verses and passages:

Love, John 3:16-17,

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.”

Beginning verse, 1 Chronicles 7:21,

“Zabad his son
   and Shuthelah his son.
Ezer and Elead were killed by the native-born men of Gath, when they went down to seize their livestock.”

Peace and love, Joy Cleveland
