God’s

Hello, God has given me something in 1 Chronicles 12:18 which says,

Then the Spirit came on Amasai, chief of the Thirty, and he said:

   “We are yours, David!
We are with you, son of Jesse!
Success, success to you,
and success to those who help you,
for your God will help you.”

So David received them and made them leaders of his raiding bands.”

Spirit of God: The Spirit of God came apon Amasai and the Spirit led Amasai to bless David and help him. And then David’s army grew, and grew day after day people joined until David’s army was like the army of God, or a great and mighty army (1 Chronicles 12:22). David was blessed and his army grew, and he won many battles. David had God on His side.

Our lives saved: We are sinful. We are horrible wretches that deserve death. But we’re still alive. Why are we still alive? Why aren’t we in the miry pits of hell, where we belong in our sin? Because of Jesus! He became sin for us and He died on the cross for us. He gave His own life up for us. (2 Corinthians 5:21) We are now the righteousness of God. We are children of God, though we still sin. Jesus destroyed the law on the cross. Still we do NOT need sin. (Romans 6:1-4). Jesus gave His life for us. Thank you Jesus!

Us: We were sinful, and horrible, but Jesus gave His life for us on the cross. He died for us on the cross so that we can be saved. What should we do now? Worship! He gave His life for us not His friends but His enemies, we were crucifying Him, He took our sin on Him and died. So now we can worship. We can pour out our hearts to God. Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank You for giving Your life for me. Thank becoming sin for me. I pray that I would be closer to You, and love You more. I pray that I would be kinder to those around me. I pray that I would rejoice in time of suffering like the disciples. Thank You for giving Your life for me. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
