House and courage

Hello, God has given me something in 1 Chronicles 17:25 which says,

“You, my God, have revealed to your servant that you will build a house for him. So your servant has found courage to pray to you.”

House: David is talking to God about how God has revealed that He was going to build a house for David, so David got up enough courage to pray to God. Why was David nervous? You would be too if you knew that God could kill you in an instant and had the reason to. Everyone sinned and God hates sin, and David knew it. That’s why the Israelites had to offer sacrifices, they were sinful.

No sacrifices: Why are we alive if we don’t offer sacrifices? Because of Jesus. Jesus gave His own life for us on the cross. He died on the cross for us. Jesus gave His own life blood for us. He came down and became sin for us so that we might become the righteousness of God (2 Corinthians 5:21). Jesus gave His own life for us on the cross. We don’t have to offer sacrifices because God supplied the perfect sacrifice, Jesus. Thank You Jesus!

Now: Now we are God’s children. We are co-heirs with Christ because He died for us. Now we are God’s sons and daughters so we should live like it. We can’t continue passionately in our sin, we are the righteousness of God. Now we can worship Jesus, and die to ourselves, because Jesus died for us.

Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank You for sending Your only son for us on the cross. Thank You, Jesus, for dying for us on the cross. I pray that I would love You more. I pray that I would rejoice in time of suffering, and talk to You more, as David did. I pray for believers in places hostile to the gospel, that the would rejoice, and that You would give them peace in their hearts no matter were they are. Thank You for giving Your own life up for us, Jesus. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
