My Redeemer Lives

Hello, God has given me something in Job 19:25,

“I know that my redeemer[a] lives,
and that in the end he will stand on the earth.[b]”

Job: Job said that they reproached him ten times. He asked how many times they would crush him with their words. So many thing were happening to Job. But, he said that he knew that his redeemer lived, and that in the end he would stand on the earth. Job longed for a mediator and said that he knew his redeemer lived. Who was Job’s redeemer? I think that Job is really pointing forward to a time when the redeemer would be born in Bethlehem and give His life for all the world to be saved.

Christians: Christians have been saved by Christ’s death and resurrection. We are free from sins, and from hell. But, unbelievers are not bound for the promised land. They are still in sin. If you are an unbeliever then why don’t you come to Christ? He is mighty to save and He will save you. So come to Christ today, and be saved from sins. He is the only one who will fill you with true joy. He is the only one who will love you. So, come to Christ, and He will save you and love you and fill you. So be filled with Christ today. Why wouldn’t you want to come to Christ who will save you from drowning in the ocean of sin? He is the savior. So, come to Him today and be saved. Why wouldn’t someone want to be saved by the savior. Why wouldn’t someone want to accept a life-preserver? Christ is the life-preserver so come to Him and be saved.

What to do: Here is one thing that we are to do in as Christians: Come to Christ! That may sound weird because Christians have already come to Christ, but we need to keep coming. He fills us up with His grace if we come to Him. So, let’s come to Him every day to be filled by Him, and we need His grace to stay strong in Christ. Without His grace we would probably fall away. We can’t stand against the evil one without Christ. He is our savior, and our refuge that we should flee to for help. He will help us. He will cover us in His grace.

God: God is so good. He has given His own son to save us. Let’s praise Him. Let’s rejoice in Him! Let’s worship Christ, because He has given His life for us to save us from sins. Let’s praise God for giving us the Holy-Spirit. Now, we are filled with the Holy-Spirit, and Christ is pleading for us. He has saved us! Let’s give thanks, and praise Christ! Let’s give our lives to Him, because He has given His life for us. Let’s rejoice in Him, and praise Him with all of our hearts! Thank You, Christ!

Application: How does Job 19:25 apply to us? Job said that He knew His redeemer lived. But how? How did He know? Christ hadn’t died yet, but He said He knew of His redeemer. I think He was pointing forward to Jesus, who is our redeemer. He said that He knew His redeemer lived. We also know our redeemer lived. He gave His life for us, and then three days later He rose up out of the grave! He is living in our hearts, and in heaven. He is preparing a place for us in heaven. He has saved us, and is making a place for us!

Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank You for loving me so much. Thank You for saving me. Please help me to love You more. Please help me to draw close to You. Please help me to talk and walk with You more. Please help me to be more like You, and grow in You. Thank You for giving Your son for us. Thank You for making me Your daughter. Please help me not to be proud. Please help me to rejoice in You. Please help me to be more thankful. Thank You for blessing me so much. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
