No Longer Remembered

Hello, God has given me something in Job 24:20 which says,

“The womb forgets them,
    the worm(A) feasts on them;(B)
the wicked are no longer remembered(C)
but are broken like a tree.(D)”

Job: Job is talking about the wicked here. He said that they make friends with darkness. He said that when daylight is gone the murderer rises up. He said, “Yet, they are foam on the surface of the water; there portion of land is cursed, so that no one goes out to the vineyards.” (Job 24:18). But, he also said that the womb forgets the wicked, and the wicked are no longer remembered. He said that they are broken like a tree. God punished the wicked, for their evil deeds. The wicked, the sinners, deserved to be punished, and Job said that they were. They were broken like a tree! So, the wicked got it bad, they got what they deserved for sinning. Death is the punishment for sin! They would no longer be remembered by the womb, or plain out remembered, but they would be broken like a tree. They prey on the barren women, so God will “prey” on them.

Christians: Christians have been saved! We have been rescued from our pit of sin. But unbelievers still need help. They have not been rescued. If you are an unbeliever, then come to Christ! Why wouldn’t someone want to be saved! He is mighty to save, and He can save you too! You are not out of His reach. No one can be to far in sin for Christ not to be able to save them. So, come to Christ, and He will rescue you, like a knight in shining armor. He will lift you from your sinful grave, and He will save you from your sins. So, come to Jesus, and He will save you!

What to do: Here is one thing that we are to do as Christians: Help others! Still others are in need to be saved. So, let’s go bring the Gospel to them! Let’s help them to see Christ, and come to Him. He loved the world so much that He sent His son to save it (John 3:16). So, let’s help others to see the savior. Christ can save them. So let’s not hog the Gospel, let’s share it with others, so that they may see the light and live!

God: God is so good that He gave His own son for us. Let’s praise His holy name! Let’s worship Him! Jesus gave His own life as an atoning sacrifice (1 John 2:2), let’s rejoice in Him, and praise His holy name! Thank You Jesus! Let’s give thanks with all of our hearts, souls, and minds! Let’s praise Him with all of our strength. God is the holy God. He has given His son for us, so let’s give our lives to Him. He has given His Holy-Spirit for us! Let’s love Him and rejoice in Him! Thank You, Jesus!

Application: How does Job 24:20 apply to us? Job said that the evil would no longer be remembered, but that they would be broken like a tree. We were evil, vile, wretched sinners, so why weren’t we broken like trees? Because Christ came down to earth, and gave His own life to save us. He was broken on a tree, so that we would not be broken like trees. He saved us by giving His life for us! Thank You, Jesus! He has loved us, and given His life to save us, so let’s praise Him! He has given His life for us, thank You, Jesus! He was forgotten for us, so that we might be remembered!

Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank You for loving me so much. Thank You for saving us. Thank You for giving Your son for us, and for making me Your daughter. Thank You for blessing me so much. Please help me to love You more. Please help me to draw close to You. Please help me to be more like You, and grow in You. Please strengthen me, and help me to walk and talk with You more. Please help me not to be proud. Thank You for always being there for me. Please help me to run to You when I need help. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
