An Unpure Worm

Hello, God has given me something in Job 25:5-6 which says,

“Behold, even the moon is not bright, and the stars are not pure in his eyes;
how much less man, who is a maggot, and the son of man, who is a worm!”

Bildad: This is Bildad talking. He said then God made peace in His high heaven. He asked “Is there a number to his armies? Upon whom does his light not arise?” Then he asked how man could be right before God. He said that the moon and stars were not bright and pure in God’s eyes. He said how much then could human, just mere maggots, mere worms, be right with God. They had to offer sacrifices day after day. But, they were not forever right with God from one sacrifice. God was never pleased with just one. One at least everyday had to be offered to atone for the sins of the people, and the priest, for almost every occasion that happened, and just everyday.

Christians: Christians have been saved from sins. We have been save from hell. But, unbelievers haven’t. If you are an unbeliever, then why don’t you come to Christ today, and be saved from sins? Why don’t you come to The savior and be saved from hell? Christ is mighty to save and He will save you too. So, come to Christ the savior, and be saved! Why wouldn’t someone want to come to Christ? Why would they want to be saved from their sins? Why wouldn’t someone want to go to Heaven? We are/were all bound to go to hell, but Christ saved us, so accept Him, and become His sheep, and He will put you into His pasture, and lead you by still waters.

What to do: Here is one thing that we are to do as Christians: Help others! There are still unbelievers who need to be saved. They are stuck in sins. So, lets not let the Gospel lay waist in our hearts and mouths, let’s spread the Gospel to others. Let’s help them to see the Savior, and be saved! Christ is the one who does the saving, we are only the messengers, who deliver the message of the Good news to those in trouble. So, let’s spread the Gospel to unbelievers, that they might see and be saved by Christ today! Thank You, Jesus!

God: Once God created the heavens and earth, and us. But, man sinned and God sent a curse. Man would have to work, and women labor. We were all doomed to die if we didn’t keep the law, and didn’t offer a sacrifice. But animals will never fully atone for sin. So, God sent His only son for us on the cross! Let’s praise His holy name. Let’s praise Jesus for giving His life for us! Give thanks with a grateful heart. Let’s worship Him, and praise Him with all of our strength.

Application: How does Job 25:5-6 apply to us? Bildad said that the moon and stars were not pure in Gods eyes, so how could man be right with God? Why are we still alive and not offering sacrifices? Why is God pleased with us? Because Jesus gave His own life to save us from sins, and to make us pure in God’s eyes. He did make us pure, He cleansed us from our sins, and saved us from hell. On our own we wouldn’t be pure in God’s eyes, but Christ gave His life for us and saved us from sins!
Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank You for saving me from my sins. Thank You for loving me so much. Thank You for blessing me so much. Thank You for giving Your son for us. Thank You for making me Your daughter. Please help me to love You more, and grow in You. Please help me to be more like You, and talk with You more. Please help me to draw close to You, and walk with You. Please help me not to be proud. Thank You for giving me strength. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
