God Alone Understands Wisdom

Hello, God has given me something in Job 28:23-24,

“God understands the way to it
and he alone(A) knows where it dwells,(B)
24 for he views the ends of the earth(C)
and sees everything under the heavens.(D)”

Wisdom: The person talking here said that God alone understood the way to it (wisdom) and He was the only one who knows where it dwells. He said that God “views the ends of the earth and he sees everything under the heavens.”. He said that nothing could buy. Man could not know it without God. God’s eyes search throughout the earth (2 Chronicles 16:9). He can see the ends of the earth. He knows everything that goes on down here. He knows everything.

Christians: Christians have been saved from the wrath of God. We are no longer stuck in our pit of sin. But, unbelievers have not been saved from their sins. They are still stuck. If you are an unbeliever then come to Christ, and be saved from your sins. He will save you from your sins. So, come to the savior! Come to Christ! Christ is mighty to save, so come to Christ and be saved from your sins today. He will love You, and He will save you. Imagine that we are all little chicks, but we are stuck in our egg of sin. If we don’t break free then we will die in our sins. But, we don’t have the power to break free of sin. But, then comes Christ, He breaks the egg, and He takes us to the still waters. He saved us from our sins. He has rescued us. So, come to Christ, and He will save you from your sins. Come to the savior, and be saved by His sacrifice for us today!

What to do: Here is one thing in application to this passage, that we are to do: Trust in Jesus as the way. God is the only one who can understand wisdom, so even if we find a way that we think is right without Christ, it leads to death (Proverbs 14:12). So, let’s trust in Christ as the only way, instead of trying to find a path by ourselves. There are so many different paths, but there is only one narrow one, but no one likes narrow, unless it means following Christ for the Christian. Christ is the only way to heaven (John 14:6).

God: God is so good, He gave His own son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins (1 John 2:2). He has saved us from our sins, so let’s give thanks. Let’s praise Him with all of our hearts, souls, minds, and strength. He is the only God! Let’s praise Christ for giving His own life for us on the cross! Let’s worship Him, and rejoice in Him! Let’s give our lives to Him! He has given us His holy Spirit, so let’s praise Him with all of us. He is the God! Thank You, Jesus! Let’s give thanks to Him!

Application: How does Job 28:23-24 apply to us? God is the only one who understands wisdom. But, how can that be? He gave His own son, whom He loved, to save a world full of sinners, after He let man sin. How is that wise?  Before sin, man couldn’t quite consider God as above Him, because after all, man and God were both perfect. But, since we have sinned, we have been under God, as God to man. Now, we can worship God with all our hearts! Now, we can have the God who loves us, and gave His own son to save us.

Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank You for giving Your son for us. Thank You for blessing me so much. Thank You for saving me, and loving me. Thank You for making me Your daughter. Please help me to love You more, draw close to You, and not be proud. Please help me to grow in You, be more like You, and walk with You more. Please help me to talk with You more. Please strengthen me. Please help me to rejoice in You, and praise You with all my heart. Please help me to be more thankful. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

God’s eyes search, 2 Chronicles 16:9,

For the eyes(A) of the Lord range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him. You have done a foolish(B) thing, and from now on you will be at war.(C)””

A way that seems right to a man, Proverbs 14:12,

“There is a way that appears to be right,(A)
but in the end it leads to death.(B)”

Jesus is the way, John 14:6,

“Jesus answered, “I am(A) the way(B) and the truth(C) and the life.(D) No one comes to the Father except through me.(E)”

Atoning sacrifice, 1 John 2:2,

“He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins,(A) and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world.(B)”

Beginning verse, Job 28:23-24,

“God understands the way to it
and he alone(A) knows where it dwells,(B)
24 for he views the ends of the earth(C)
and sees everything under the heavens.(D)”

Peace and love, Joy Cleveland
