The Almighty Is Still Exalted

Hello, God has given me something in Job 37:23 which says,

“The Almighty is beyond our reach and exalted in power;
    in his justice and great righteousness, he does not oppress.”

Elihu: Elihu said that God’s voice thundered in many ways. He told Job to listen, and he said to stop and consider God’s wonders. He asked if Job knew how God controlled the clouds, and made the lightning flash. He asked if Job knew how the clouds stayed perfectly poised, the wonders of the one who had/had perfect knowledge. He told Job to tell them what to tell him (God I think). They said that they could not draw up their case because of their darkness. He asked if he should be told that Elihu wanted to speak. He continued a little. Who is going to settle this dispute? Well, why not God? In the next chapter God will speak. It seems like Elihu had gotten pretty upset. In the verse above he said that the Almighty was exalted, and beyond their reach. He said that in his justice and righteousness, he did not oppress.

Christians: Christians have been saved from sin. We are no longer in bondage. But, unbelievers are still stuck in sin. They need help. So, if you are an unbeliever, then why not come to Christ? Why not be saved from sin. Why not come to the savior, and be saved? Come to Jesus and you will be saved from your sins. He will save you, he is mighty to save. He will love you, and He will save you. He will fill you with joy. He will fill you, and love you, and cleanse you from your sin. He will give you a reason to rejoice. So, come to Jesus, and live. Be saved by him today!

What to do: Here is something that we are to do as Christians: Help others to see the savior. Unbelievers are still in the world, and they  need help, so as Christians we must share the Gospel with them. Let’s not be Gospel-hogs, instead lets share it with others, so that they may see Jesus, and come to Him, and live. We have the Good-News that will help so many people, so let’s share with them, and help them. Jesus gave His life as an atoning to save everyone, the whole world (1 John 2:2). Let’s share the Good-News, and help them to see Christ.

God: God has loved us so much, that He gave His own son for us (John 3:16). Let’s praise Him, and give thanks to Him. Let’s worship Christ because He has loved us, and given His life for us. Let’s praise His holy name, and rejoice in Him. Let’s love Him with all of our hearts. Let’s praise Him. Let’s rejoice in Him, and praise Him, for He has cleansed us and made us new in Him. We are now new creations in Him (2 Corinthians 5:17). He has made us new, and loved us, so now, we are children of God (John 1:12).

Application: How does Jo 37:23 apply to us? Elihu said that the Almighty (God) is exalted beyond our reach. That is totally true for us by ourselves. But, Jesus gave His own life, and now He has lifted us up, and made us children of the living God. So, now, we can spread the Gospel to others, and when we leave this earth, we will go to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus, and we will see Him. Let’s praise Him, because He saved us, and we are now clean. Praise Jesus! Thank You, Jesus.

Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank You for loving me, and giving Your son for me. Thank You for blessing me so much. Thank You for making me Your daughter. Thank You for cleansing me. Please help me to love You more. Please help me to draw close to You. Please help me to walk and talk with You more, and help me to grow in You. Please help me to be more like You. Please help me not to be proud. Please help me to be more thankful. Please strengthen me more in You. Please help me to run to You for help. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
