Doubled In Riches

Hello, God has given me something in Job 42:10 which says,

“After Job had prayed for his friends, the Lord restored his fortunes(A) and gave him twice as much as he had before.(B)”

God was angry with Elihu and his two friends. Before saying anything to them, God had only spoken to Job. But, when He finished talking to Job, he talked with Elihu. They had not said right about God, like Job had. God was upset with them, so he told them to offer a sacrifice, and go to Job so that he could pray over them. God would accept Job’s prayer, and not judge them according to their sin. After Job prayed for his friends, God gave him twice as much as he had had before. He had three daughters and seven sons. There was no woman more beautiful than his daughters. Job was now blessed even more.

God has saved Christians, but unbelievers are stuck in sin. If you are an unbeliever, then why not come to Christ? He is the atoning sacrifice (1 John 2:2), so why wouldn’t you want to come to Him? He will save you, and He will bless you like He has blessed other believers. In our sin, we had lost everything, but God sent His son and saved us, and He gave us grace. He doubled the richness that we had only spiritually. We are now children of God. So let’s praise God! Let’s love Him, and worship Him with all of our hearts. He has loved us, so let’s love Him. Let’s also help others to see Him, and love Him.

Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank You for loving me so much. Thank You for giving Your son for me. Please help me to love You more. Please help me to rejoice in You, and give thanks more often. Please help me to grow in You and be more like You. Please help me to draw close to You. Please help me to walk with You and talk with You more. Thank You for blessing me so much. Thank You for making me Your daughter. Please help me not to be proud. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
