Hello, God has given me something in Psalms 9:15 which says,
The verse above reminds me of Haman when he made gallows for Mordecai, but he himself ended up being hanged. Here David said that nations fell into the pit they dug. He said that basically they fell into the trap they put down. They dug a hole only to fall into it. They got caught in their own net. The wicked fall into their own trap, but David could praise the Lord.
Christians are not stuck in sin. We have been lifted out of the sea of sin. But unbelievers are still stuck in the sea of sin. If you are an unbeliever, stuck in your sin, looking for a way out, then come to Jesus. He is the way, truth, and life (John 14:6). Come to Jesus and He will save you. He will make you clean. He will make you God’s child. So, come to Jesus and He will help you, and He will save you from your sin. So, come to Jesus, and He will save you!
As Christians, we need to help unbelievers see Christ. But, we should also praise the Lord who made us, and saved us from our sin. Let’s give thanks for what He has done for us. Let’s worship Christ for He has loved us, and give His own life as a living sacrifice to atone for us our sins, before rising again on the third day saving us from our sin! He loved us so much, so let’s love Him. He gave us the Holy-Spirit. Let’s praise the Lord. Let’s give thanks to Him, and worship Him! Thank You Jesus!
Application: How does Psalms 9:15 apply to us? The wicked get caught in their own trap. There are two Gospel pictures here, the first is that we were wicked. We were sinful, and we had a trap of sin. We were going to get caught in that trap, but Jesus came, and He died for us atoning for our sins, and saving all who come to Him. The second is that Satan set a trap for Christ. It looked like he had caught Christ and the cross, but Jesus rose again, crushing Satan’s serpanty head. Christ has risen!
Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank You for loving me so much. Thank You for giving Your son for me. Thank You for saving me from the trap. Thank You for blessing me so much. Please help me to love You more. Please help me to be more thankful, and more like You. Please help me to walk and talk with You more. Please strengthen me. Please, Lord, help me to long to be in Your word, and in You. Please help me to be more thankful, and less proud. Please help those who are being persecuted for You. Please help me to come to You when I need help. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
