Salvation

Hello, God has given me something in Psalms 14:7, which says,

“Oh, that salvation for Israel would come out of Zion!(A)
When the Lord restores(B) his people,
let Jacob rejoice and Israel be glad!”

In this verse David is longing for the salvation of Israel to come out of Zion. He said that when the Lord restored His people, to let Jacob rejoice and let Israel be glad. We were also in sin like Israel. We would long for salvation to come out of… anywhere. We longer to be rescued. Then Jesus came, and gave His life for us. He died on the cross and rose again, saving us of sin by becoming an atoning sacrifice pleasing to the Lord. He has saved us and made us clean! He made us (believers) children of God. But unbelievers are still stuck in sin. They need help. So if you are an unbeliever, then why not come to Jesus? He is mighty to save anyone who cries out for help. So, come to Jesus.

Praise the Lord! We need to praise God (Psalm 33:1). He has loved us so much (John 3:16), that He has given His own son, whom He loved, to save a bunch of wretched sinners. So, let’s give thanks! Let’s praise Jesus for He has loved us so much that He died for us. Let’s rejoice in Him, and love Him with all of our hearts. Let’s give thanks! Thank You, Jesus!

Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank You for loving me so much. Thank You for giving Your son for me. Thank You for saving me, and making me Your daughter. Thank You for blessing me so much. Please help me to love You more, and draw close to You. Please help me to be more thankful. Please help me not to be proud. Please help me to walk with You and talk with You more. Please help me to grow in You, and be more like You. Please strengthen me in You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
