Cast Your Cares

Hello, God has given me something in Psalm 55:22 which says,

“Cast your cares on the Lord
    and he will sustain you;
he will never let
    the righteous be shaken.”

David is saying to cast your cares on the Lord. He said that God will sustain and never let the righteous be shaken. David knew that God could help the righteous. He knew that God would sustain. He knew that you can cast your cares on God, and not be shaken in Christ.

We were shaken by our sin. We were jolted. We were not stable, and soon we would fall to death. Then, Jesus came, and He died on the cross for us. He took our punishment for sin. He died for us. He stabilized us. He became our rock and salvation. He saved us! We can cast our cares on God, for He will listen to us. He will help us, if we give our cares to Jesus, and take captive our thoughts to Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5).

Unbelievers are not saved. They are not stable. If you are an unbeliever, then why not come to Christ? He will save you. He will make you stable. He will love you, and clean you. So, come to Christ, and be saved from your sin. Be stabilized by Christ. Be saved, and made new in Christ. Come to the savior, and be saved from your sin! Cast your cares on Christ, and be saved.

Believers should also praise God! We should also give thanks for what Jesus has done for us. So, let’s praise God! Let’s lift our hands up to Him (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=llsBRuSIVrY)! He is so worthy of all of our praise! Let’s praise Him! Let’s give thanks to Him for what He has done for us. Thank You, Jesus!

Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank You for loving me so much. Thank You for giving Your own son for me, and saving me. Thank You for making me Your own daughter. Thank You for letting me cast my cares on You, and thank You for not letting me be shaken. Please help me to love You more. Please help me to rejoice in You. Please help me to praise You more. Please help me to share the Gospel with others. Thank You for blessing me so much. In Jesus’ name, Amen

Take captive your thoughts, 2 Corinthians 10:5,

“We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.”

Beginning verse, Psalm 55:22,

“Cast your cares on the Lord
    and he will sustain you;
he will never let
    the righteous be shaken.”

Peace and love, Joy Cleveland
