Hello, God has given me something in Psalm 83:1 which says,
“O God, do not remain silent;
do not turn a deaf ear,
do not stand aloof, O God.”
Asaph is asking God not to remain silent. He want God to answer them. He wants God to speak to them. He wants to be heard and saved by God. He said that God’s enemies were going to destroy Israel as a nation. He said that they plotted together against God. He said to God to do to them as He has done to Midian. He wants God to save them, and hear them. He doesn’t want God to be deaf.
We were sinners crying out for someone to help us. And it seems like God should have been deaf to us. It seems like He shouldn’t have listened when we cried, but He did. He gave His own son who saved us from our sin. He sent Jesus, who gave His very own life in our place on the cross. He took our sins, and died in our place. He has saved us! All those who believe in Him will be heard by Him. He will not turn a deaf ear to us.
Unbelievers aren’t saved. If you are an unbeliever, then why not be saved? Jesus can save you if you come to Him. So, why not come to Him? Why wouldn’t you be saved by Him? Come to Jesus, and be saved from sin. He won’t be deaf to you if you cry out. So, be saved by Jesus! Cry out and be heard by the one who can save you! Be saved by Jesus! Jesus is willing and able to save you if you cry out, so why not cry out? Why not be saved?
Praise God! God has saved us from our sin. He has given His own son for us. He has given His own son for us, so let’s praise Him! Let’s give thanks for He has given His own son for us. He has heard our cry. He has not turned a deaf ear. Praise Him!
Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank You for loving me so much. Thank You for hearing my cry. Thank You for saving me, and making me Your own daughter. Please help me to love You more. Please help me to praise You more. Peace and love, Joy Cleveland
