The Promised Land

Hello, God has given me something in Psalm 95:11 which says,

“So I declared on oath in my anger,
‘They shall never enter my rest.’””

The Psalmist said that we should worship God. He said that “He is our God, and we are the people of His pasture”. He said, “If only you would hear His voice” then he spoke what God said and told them not to harden their hearts, like they’s done and Meribah. He went on to say that He declared an oath in His anger, that they should never enter His rest. They could never see the promised land, because they tested God, and sinned because Jesus said in Luke 4:12,

Jesus answered, “It is said: ‘Do not put the Lord your God to the test.’[a]””

So they sinned, and they took the punishment for sins. They didn’t get to see the promised land. We have sinned so much. We don’t deserve to see the promised land (heaven). But, Jesus came and He died for us. He gave His very own life to saved us from sins. The children of those who had sinned could see the promised land, because they weren’t the ones who had sinned. Jesus never sinned. But, instead of letting us die and never see Heaven, He came and He died for us, and let us have eternal life. Now, we can go to heaven! We can see the place of rest.

But, unbelievers don’t believe in what the savior has done for us. Are you an unbeliever? If you are, then why don’t you come to Jesus? You can find eternal peace and rest from the Prince of Peace. You can be forgiven of your sin, no matter what you’ve done. He can forgive you. So what is the unforgivable sin? Not accepting forgiveness. So, if you do accept forgiveness, then Jesus will forgive you. If you come to Him He will show you joy like you’ve never seen, (1 Peter 1:8),

“Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy,”

So, come to Jesus, and be saved!

Praise God! The Psalmist in this chapter said to worship Him. David said to praise Him. Let’s praise Him! Let’s give thanks for He is worthy. “Praise Him, Praise Him, Jesus my blessed redeemer”, feel free to sing along!

Praise the Lord!

Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank You for loving me. Thank You for letting me enter the promised land. Thank You for giving Your own son for me. Thank You for making me Your child. Please help me to love You more. Please help me to praise You more. Please help me to be more grateful. Thank You so much for every blessing You have blessed me with. Please help me not to be proud. Please help me to spread the Gospel all over, Lord. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Peace and love, Joy Cleveland
