Sing of Salvation

Hello, God has given me something in Psalm 96:2 which says,

“Sing to the Lord, praise his name;
    proclaim his salvation day after day.”

The Psalmist here is saying to sing a new song. He said to sing to God and praise His name, and proclaim His salvation. What salvation? In the Old Testament, to sacrifice for sins, they would put to death a lamb, or goat or some other animal sacrifice. Then they would have to keep sacrificing.

We don’t sacrifice. That is because there has been one sacrifice made for us. That sacrifice was Jesus. He was perfect, and yet He died for our sins. He loved us and saved us. Now we can sing of salvation. We can praise Him. We are saved from sin. We have been loved!

Unbelievers aren’t believing in what Jesus did for us. He has loved us, but unbelievers don’t believe in that. They aren’t saved. Are you an unbeliever? If you are, then why not praise God? Why not be saved from your sin? You can be saved us you come to Jesus. So, why not be saved? Come to Jesus!

Praise God! The Psalmist said to sing of salvation. So, let’s sing of the salvation that Jesus gave us! Let’s sing a new song! Let’s praise Him and give thanks for what He’s done for us. Let’s praise Him! He has saved us and love us, so let’s love Him and praise Him! Give thanks with a grateful heart!

Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank You for loving me so much. Thank You for giving Your son for me. Thank You for making me Your daughter. Please help me to love you more. Please help me to rejoice in You, and praise You more. Please help me to spread the Gospel to others. Thank You for blessing me so much. Thank You for everything, Lord. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Peace and love, Joy Cleveland
