Exalt and Worship

Hello, God has given me something in Psalm 99:5 which says,

“Exalt the Lord our God
    and worship at his footstool;
    he is holy.”

The Psalmist is saying that we should exalt the Lord, and worship Him for He is holy. He is holy. We should worship Him, and exalt Him, not ourselves, for He is holy. We should worship at His footstool, not sitting at His right hand. We don’t sit next to Him on his throne and comment on how holy He is. No, we should prostrate ourselves before Him, and worship Him. We should be giving thanks on our knees before Him for His wonderful love. The safest place we can be on this earth is at our knees in prayer, and thanksgiving. He is so holy, we never deserved to even see heaven, but He sent His own son, who died on the cross in our place, so that we wouldn’t have to die for our sins. So let us praise Him!

Praise the Lord with all your heart! Praise Him and give thanks for what He has done! Really worship at the throne of God, for what He has done. Any time of day, we can come to our Fathers house, and we can say, “Daddy”, we can kneel down in worship and thanksgiving. He is so loving. Let’s love Him and praise Him! Thank You, Jesus!

And when we pray and praise Him and give thanks for what He has done, we can ask for the souls of those who don’t believe. If anyone is not feeling the love of Jesus, then we can ask for grace to give to that person,

“You do not have because you do not ask God.” (The last part of James 4:2)

We should pray to God for others, and we should share with them the Gospel of Jesus, and what He has done for us. God uses us as tools of grace to help others.

And if you are not a believer, then I ask why? Why not come and be saved? Why wouldn’t someone want to be free from sins?

“Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.” (2 Corinthians 3:17)

So, why not come to Jesus?

Prayer: Dear Lord,

I pray that if there is anyone reading this post who is not saved, I ask that you would work in their heart, and show them Your grace. Thank You for letting us come to You, and for answering our prayers. Please help me to come to You more, and praise You more. Please help my walk with You to grow stronger, and more intimate. Thank You for sending Your son for me, Lord. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Peace and love, Joy Cleveland
