When You Redeem

Hello, God has given me something in Psalm 106:10 which says,

“He saved them from the hand of the foe;
    from the hand of the enemy he redeemed them.”

The Psalmist is recalling the history of Israel (again) and he said that God had saved His people from the hand of the foe, and from the hand of the enemy He had redeemed them. That is just a clear picture of the Gospel. God redeemed His people (the Israelites) and He redeemed His people (all believers). Where did He redeem believers? At the cross! Jesus, the son of God, came down to earth, and He died on a cross for us. He loved us so much that He saved us!

Jesus is so kind, He has died on the cross for us, and He has redeemed us from the hand of the enemy. We were going to die in the hands of Satan, and in our sin, but Jesus redeemed us. He paid the price of our sin with His own life. He saved us from death, and now we are  the sons and daughters of God.

God has redeemed us and saved us. Let’s spread the Good news. Let’s really help others to see what God has done. Let’s also be sure to give God the glory for saving us. He is so good to us.

Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank You for loving me so much. Thank You for redeeming us. Please help me to love You more. Please help me to praise You more. Thank You for blessing me so much. Please help me to grow to be more like You. Please help me to walk with You more, and please help me to pour out my heart to You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Is there anything you would like me to specifically address?

Please keep praying that we will find a church that preaches the Gospel.

Peace and love, Joy Cleveland
