God Dwelling With Us

Hello, God has given me something in Psalm 114:2 which says,

“Judah became God’s sanctuary,
    Israel his dominion.”

The Psalmist is saying that God came and dwelled with men. His sanctuary was Judah. His dominion was Israel. God still dwells with us. How? The Holy Spirit lives in our lives and our hearts. But why? We are sinful, God is perfect, perfection and sin don’t mix well. So, how can the perfect Holy Spirit be living in us? Because Jesus, the son of God (also God Himself) came down to earth in a body, and He lived the perfect life. But then He died because of sin. He was sinless, yet He died because of sin. We would have died,

“For the wages of sin is death,…

But the rest of that verse (Romans 6:23) says,

“but the gift of God is eternal life in[a] Christ Jesus our Lord.”

Jesus died in our place. He gave His life for our sins! He has saved us, and now we are clean and holy in Jesus. Now, the Holy Spirit lives in us! Thank God that He loved us so much, John 3:16

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”

God is now dwelling in us. And when our time on this earth is up, all believers will go to heaven and dwell with God.

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank You for dwelling in me. Thank You for loving me so much. Thank You for making me Your daughter. Pleas help me to love You. Thank You for letting me dwell in You. Please help me to grow in You more and more. Thank You so much for all the love and blessings You’ve done for me. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Peace and love, Joy Cleveland
