Hello, God has given me something in Psalm 118:22 which says,

“The stone the builders rejected
    has become the cornerstone;”

The Psalmist says the verse above, but why? It prophesied to Jesus. Luke 20:17 says,

“Jesus looked directly at them and asked, “Then what is the meaning of that which is written:

“‘The stone the builders rejected
    has become the cornerstone’[a]?”

Acts 4:11 says,

“Jesus is

“‘the stone you builders rejected
which has become the cornerstone.’[a]”

The Psalmist was actually prophesying about Jesus. Jesus was rejected by His people, and yet He has become the cornerstone to the church. He gave His life to save all those that believe, John 3:16 says,

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”

Jesus has saved us from our sin. He has loved us so much that He died for us. He is now the cornerstone of the church. The Cornerstone is the stone that supports the whole building:

Christ is the cornerstone of the church

Christ is the Cornerstone! He was rejected by all, even His Father (God), and He gave His life for us, and saved us from our sin. Now, we can lean on Him, our Cornerstone. Praise the Lord!

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank You for loving me so much. Thank You for giving Your life, Jesus. Please help me to trust in You, the Cornerstone, more. Please help me to love You more. Please help me to give thanks more. Please help me to praise You more. Please help me to walk and talk with You more. Thank You for all Your loving kindness. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Peace and love, Joy Cleveland
