Hello, God has given me something in Psalm 119:9 which says,
“How can a young person stay on the path of purity?
By living according to your word.”
The Psalmist is saying that the way a young person can stay on the path of purity, is by living according to God’s word. Of course, he doesn’t mean that only young people have to do that to walk on the path of purity. But, no one is actually able to be perfect, are they? No man (I mean only man) is able to walk perfectly on the path of God. That is why Jesus came and saved us. He came down, and lived a perfect life. He walked perfectly on the path of purity. Then He died because of sin. Not His sin, but our sin. Now, He is the only way to go to heaven. He is the only path to purity. John 14:6 says,
“Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”
Jesus is the only way to purity. He is the only one who gave His life for us. Praise God!
Now, we can walk the path of purity, at the side of Jesus. We can live lives holy and pleasing to God: Romans 12:1,
“Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship.”
Jesus has cleansed us in His blood. He has made us as white as snow. Thank the Lord!
Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank You. Thank You for making us pure. Thank You for giving Your own son. Thank You for loving us, and making us Your children. Thank You for all the wonderful blessing You have given to us. Please help us to be more thankful, instead of only asking things. Thank You for all that You have done, blessed Lord. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Peace and love, Joy Cleveland
