Hello, God has given me something in Psalm 122:6 which says,
“Pray for the peace of Jerusalem:
“May those who love you be secure.”
The Psalmist is saying to pray for peace of Jerusalem which is: all those who love God be secure. He wanted to pray for those who love God to be secure. He wanted himself to be secure too, because he said that he loved God. But how can you love God so perfectly he will keep you safe?
You can’t. At least not by yourself. But, with Jesus, we can be “secure”. Jesus loved us so much that He came down to earth, and died on the Cross for us. He loved us so much that He died on a cross, with all of our sins on Him! He took the wrath of God! Now, in Jesus we are secure! We are safe in His arms! Praise God! Jesus has loved us so much that He died for us, and prayed that God would forgive us! He prayed for us to be forgiven, while He was being crucified with all of our sin on Him! He is so loving!
Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank You for loving me so much! Thank You for making me secure in You. Thank You for giving Your only son for me on the cross. Please help me to love You more. Please help me to praise You more, and spread the word to others about what You’ve done for me. Thank You for every blessing You’ve given to me, Lord. Thank You that I don’t have to be perfect by myself, and instead I just have to trust in Jesus. Please help me to always think of You, and what You’ve done for me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Peace and love, Joy Cleveland
