He Saved Us From Our Low Estate

Hello, God has given me something in Psalm 136:23-24 which says:

“He remembered us in our low estate
His love endures forever.
24 and freed us from our enemies.
His love endures forever.”

The Psalmist is clearly saying that God’s love endures forever. But between every “His Love Endures Forever” he tells the history of Israel. He recounts the parting of the Red Sea. He talks about how God remembered them when they were in a “Low estate”. He freed them from their enemies, even if they didn’t deserve it.

God’s love does endure forever. In fact, there is no greater love than His love. 1 John 3:16:

“This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters.”

Jesus laid His life down for us. He remembered us in our low estate, and He came and saved us! He saved worthless, dying, wretches. He made us alive! He freed us from the enemy of sin. His love endures forever.

Jesus stooped down to the lowest estate so that we could be lifted up. He became man, and then He took all of our sin and died for us. The Son of God loved us so much. His love really does endure forever! He loves each one of His people so much that He died for them. Thank God!

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank You for loving me so much, and stooping to the lowest estate for me. Thank You that I can feel Your love every day. Please help me to spread the Word of Your love, and what You’ve done for me on the cross, to others. Please help me to always remember that You died for me on the cross. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Peace and love, Joy Cleveland
